Delete your EcuaNews account

You can delete your account and your data at any time.

In the app

1. Open EcuaNews and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Confirm with your password or your Google account and tap "Delete my account".

Without the app

Write to support@newsbite24.com from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my EcuaNews account". We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Your account (name, email, photo), your sessions and devices, your saved stories, likes and comments. In the app this happens at once and cannot be undone.

What is kept

Reading and sharing figures keep counting, but are no longer linked to you. Payment records are kept without your details, as the law requires.
